02. Grocery Store: Maybe the both of you are eying the same frozen dinner, or maybe you’re both grabbing for the same apple. Whatever the case, chat them up!
03. Laundromat: Whoops! Did you just drop your panties/boxers on the floor? Don’t worry! There’s a friendly stranger there to help you pick them up, or maybe just look awkward and blush a lot.
04. Blind Date: Your friend thinks you need a life so they’ve set you up on a date!
05. A Long Line: Both of you are stuck next to each other in a long line. Strike up a conversation!
06. Work: Maybe your cubicles are next to each other’s, or maybe you work in the same building. Or, maybe you’re a delivery person, delivering something to the other person.
07. Public Transportation: Subway, bus, train, airplane. Whatever the case, you’re now sitting next to this person.

[She of course doesn't mind the wolf-whistling that much as another woman should. With the way she had herself dressed (and that particular pair of panties she chose to wear), Alex knew she would inevitably attract some ogling eyes. Nah, this is more of a blow to her pride. But as much as she wants to get up and storm out of the laundromat, Alex just doesn't feel like she can right now.]

[Then the sound of Badou telling off the oglers comes to the rescue, and Alex sees a hand held out to her. She's feeling all kinds of feelings right now, but all she can do right now is laugh quietly to herself and take Badou's hand to stand up. Thank god those heels aren't too high...]

"Thanks... Badou." [Alex nods her head in thanks, and she looks like she's contemplating doing something else. A moment later, she leans forward and gives the guy a nice kiss right on the cheek.] "That's for helping me out."

[Badou gives a particularly rancid stink eye to a guy carefully folding tightie whities, then turns his gaze back on Alex. She doesn't look like she's going to lock her self in one of the dryers. Mission accomplished. He grins.] Don't tell me you ain't been taught the proper Queenly anti-accident prone shit yet, babe.

[And toootally isn't getting tingle-ies from holding her hand like some prepubescent brat. The soft press of lips against his cheek results in an eye as wide as a dinner plate and a wheeze-y laugh] H-haaah, no problem, babycakes! Chivalry may be on the shitter but 'm here for a lady in need.

[Oh there's that laugh again. She just seriously can't pin why this guy's so funny, but Alex would rather not question it and just go with it.] "I guess you've just got to fill the role of knight in armor for all the other guys, hm? No, but... You're a good guy, Badou; I normally would have just kept to myself in here if you didn't come up to me." [Oh no Alex, don't go getting all sentimental now. But she knows she's gotta keep it short and sweet, or else her other errands will never get done.]

[She places a soft hand on Badou's shoulder for a moment.] "Maybe I'll see you around? Ha, but who knows, right?" [There's a kind of sly smile that Alex gives Badou that would probably make any guy go hngggggg before she picks up her basket of laundry and heads out of the laundromat. She gives a single glance to the other men in the building, then Badou.]

[And just like that, she's got her second wind and is working that skinny black dress and heels like dang.] "Mmmm... I... I think I needed that."
